The class raised money by using their last week of school to have bake sales, car washes and signing of the Doylestown High School Flag.

Zerger Elementry School – Westminster, Colorado $ 176.00
During “Spirit Week” in May of 2008, the children chose the 93 cents for Flight 93 Campaign to be their charitable focus. By donating 93 cents, children could wear the hat of their choice.

Vivian Elementary School – Lakewood, Colorado $ 100.00
“Hat Day” in May of 2008, students could wear various hats if they donated to their charity. They chose 93 cents for Flight 93.

A.I. Root Middle School $ 254.93
Root Middle School seventh grader Dylan collected over $250 for the “93 cents for Flight 93” Memorial Fund. The money collected will help to establish a permanent memorial in Pennsylvania at the site of the crash.

Martensen Elementary School

Volunteers at the Flight 93 Memorial site exhibit a poster that was
designed, colored and signed by the children from the Martensen Elementary
School (Mrs. Rhonda Hatch-Rivera, principle) of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
The children made the poster to help build awareness of the 93 cents for
Flight 93 effort at the "Big Things with Wheels" Vehicle Show in Arvada,
Colorado on September 14, 2008. The poster was displayed at the Flight 93
table along with brochures and other promotional materials that provided
information on the permanent memorial and the heroes for which it is being
built.

Chardon 6th graders raised the largest school donation to date! They held a number of fundraising activities throughout the year. In addition, these students took a field trip to the crash site to honor the heroes of Flight 93.

Flaherty Elementary (Ekron, KY) $ 2348.88
As part of an after-school program called Student Technology Leadership Program, the students held a community service project to raise funds for the Flight 93 memorial.

Kean Elementary (Wooster, OH) $ 1833.93
The students from Kean Elementary held an extremely successful fundraising campaign - the 3rd largest school donation to date! Each class was challenged to raise $93.00 and to walk 93 miles in one week.

Boy Scout Troop 77 - Stow, Ohio $ 1,146.69
Boy Scout Troop 77 teamed with the US Army in promoting the 93 cents for Flight 93 Campaign at the Akron, Ohio “Wings over Akron” Air Show over Father’s Day Weekend 2008.

Rosemary – Age 90 – Alpharetta, Georgia $ 25.00
Rosemary is 90 years old and lives in Alpharetta, Ga. She still leads a Bible Study with some ladies in her church. They collected money for our great cause and sent it as our first official donation.

Carmen Construction - Ohio $ 500.00
This contractor stepped in upon a planning meeting with volunteers for 93 cents for Flight 93. Moved with compassion, he joined us at the next meeting and generously donated this gift.

Jan set a goal to contribute 93 cents for each of the Heroes of Flight 93. Over several weeks, she would stop by and contribute a portion of her pay check until she reached this goal. In June, 2008, this goal was met!

While celebrating their 48th Wedding Anniversary in a restaurant, Joe and Marilyn heard us speak of the 93 cents for Flight 93 Campaign. In their kindness, they handed us a donation.
